NMG’s Adult Foster Waiver Program is contracted with DHHS to develop new shared living homes and to provide training and extensive support to shared living providers throughout Aroostook County. We are currently accepting applications from individuals already providing services as well as those who are interested in becoming providers. Through our program, you can support an adult in your home. Responsibilities depend upon the individual being served, but may include transportation to appointments, work, or school; meal preparation; support for community inclusion; and help with daily living skills. Individuals participating in shared living enter a contracted agreement to provide services and receive a stipend for their work.
